Note this is a Virtual Machine in Hyper-V with Encryption Support and Secure Boot enabled. At this point, I'm not certain this would help anyway. I'm not totally against uninstalling the offending updates but will have to schedule an off-business-hours time to do this. I'm 100 percent positive I have the English (US) version installed and set up correctly in the regional settings in the control panel, as I've seen some reference to this being a problem. I tried deleting references to the damaged packages from the registry but ended up with a machine that could not load the features installed on the server and so I rolled back. Still cannot install Bitlocker features, however. ![]() ![]() Did the regular SFC /scannow, which came back clean and also succesfully cleaned up the component store using DISM commands. Reviewed the CBS log file and found reference to SxS_Assembly_Missing error referring to update KBs 45944030. The thing about it is, Windows Update is working fine on this server. I noticed the other day one of my servers that is hosted here in the building wasn't BitLocker protected and went to install the feature, only to be met with Error 0x80070002: The referenced assembly cannot be found.
